The beginning of a dream: Vaugnity takes shape

It’s been an interesting few months, to say the least. Earlier this year, I had a dream that felt like more than just a fleeting thought—it felt like a divine calling. God placed a vision in my heart to start something big: a foundation that would generate financial resources through passive income and invest in four crucial areas—modern slavery, hunger, education, and poverty. This dream isn’t just a passing idea; it has stuck with me, and it’s growing every day.

My vision

I’ve learned over the years to listen carefully to my dreams and the things happening around me. This dream was no different. After having it, I spoke to several people, and almost every conversation confirmed that this is something I need to pursue. The dream is not just about creating another charity or organization. It’s about setting up a foundation with a sustainable financial model—one that generates significant income and uses those resources to fund organizations fighting these critical global issues. We’re talking about creating a legacy that could invest millions into making the world a better place.

For those of you who know me, you know how important my faith is. As a Christian, I believe we are all called to act—to take care of this world, the environment, and especially the people in it. There are so many problems around us: inequality, poverty and exploitation. God has given humanity the responsibility to take care of each other, and this foundation will be my way of responding to that call. There’s such a gap between the rich and the poor that we can’t ignore, and through this foundation, we can begin to bridge that gap in meaningful ways.

I’m not going to lie: time is probably my biggest challenge right now. Between running a company, working on the foundation, and raising a family with four kids aged 7 to 12, it’s tough to find the hours in the day to make everything happen. But I’m the kind of person who acts when I believe in something, and I know this foundation is going to make a difference. So I’m taking it one step at a time, making progress wherever and whenever I can.

Looking forward

While the journey is just beginning, I am incredibly encouraged by the support I’ve received so far. Whenever I talk about the dream for the foundation, people are enthusiastic and eager to hear more. This gives me the energy to keep going, even when things are tough.

Right now, we’re still in the planning stages, but the vision is clear. In the future, we hope to generate significant passive income, tens of millions in the next decade, to fund life-changing projects. But for now, we’re focusing on building the foundation and taking those first important steps. There will be more updates to come as this journey unfolds.
